A pulia, peninsula within the peninsula, has long been one of the most popular and visited national and international tourism destinations. Its 800 km of coastline, its nature as well as its rich history make it a rising star in world tourism. Frederick II of Swabia, not by chance dubbed "puer Apuliae", the child of Apulia, fell deeply in love with this region and chose it as his adopted land. He could fluently speak nine languages, and thanks to his open-minded and cosmopolitan attitude he realised and enhanced the multicultural aspects of this land and its vocation to be a natural bridge between East and West. He left a huge artistic heritage: the most stunning legacy is Castel del Monte, a World Heritage Site.

MISSION

The mission of FEDERICIANO TRAVEL is to let you travel back in time and see Apulia through the eyes of Frederick II and of the Greek colonists who settled here and founded Magna Graecia; to let you feel the tenacity of the Romans who built extraordinary works such as via Appia and via Traiana; or let you relive the atmosphere and the echoes of past wars like the battle of Cannae and, centuries later, the Challenge of Barletta; to let you explore via Francigena of Apulia walked by pilgrims and crusaders before embarking for the Holy Land, and let you discover our ancestors' heritage among dolmens and footprints of dinosaurs in Altamura. Our proposals are addressed to those who want to discover Apulia away from traditional tourist flows, enjoying unique experiences where the tourist is a protagonist directly involved in all historical, gastronomic, cultural, natural and sea itineraries.

FILOSOFIA

Our philosophy is inspired by sustainable tourism: it consists of tours that combine the natural beauty of Apulia - such as its two national parks and its nature reserves - with artistic and cultural itineraries aiming at discovering countless hidden treasures of a region rich in history, tradition and culture. Our proposals try to make you live unforgettable experiences in deep contact with the beauty and diversity of this lovely region which, thanks to its mild climate, can be visited in any season and can be appreciated especially in mid or low season, far from the traditional routes in the spirit of a slow responsible tourism at the discovery of aromas, flavours and rhythms of the past. Discover our proposals, discover a different Apulia!
